Apartment was spacious & bright & modern nice view of the pool. Great location to shops restaurants

Unfortunately the apartment was unclean. Things like doors / frames & skirting . evidence of stains on tiles in bathroom

Nice apartment. Close to supermarkets and restaurants/Takeaways . Quiet area. Good balcony for catching the sun.

Complete lack of communication. I contacted Casa Verol 2 via chat a few days before arrival. There was no response. Upon arrival I could not locate the apartment despite stopping 3 times to ask locals. No one seemed to know where it was, or on which complex. The area was poorly lit and roadworks and a one way system made things really hard in the dark with a car. When I eventually located the reception, which is in Fuerteventura Beach Club Elite, a sign on the door said reception was open from 10 to 18:00. On the BOOKING.COM site it says reception is open until 22:00 I arrived at 20:00. I called the number several times as stipulated on Booking. com NO RESPONSE. I Text the number several times . NO RESPONSE. After waiting for around 15 mins I went across the road to the Zanzibar pub. A waiter said that if I hung around, a security guy would eventually be on his rounds.. After another wait I managed to flag him down. He seemed to have no idea that I was arriving. He let me into reception, I paid via card and was charged 6 Euros more than the going exchange rate, for no apparent reason. I was then given the keys to Casa Verol 1 NOT Casa Verol 2 the actual apartment that I had booked. (ie the WRONG APARTMENT) The security guard shrugged and pointed. I let myself in and went to the toilet, only to be greeted by a large cockroach. I squished him and went to explore the rest of the place. On return to the cockroach, was now being devoured by hundreds of ants. On Friday morning. at around 11 am the electricity went off. Again I called and text the number. Again NO RESPONSE! I went to reception......again it was all locked up and no one around. The electricity remained off for 2 hours. But at the time, I had no idea how long it would be off for? I feel a little bad for complaining, but I feel that it needs highlighting so that the issues may be addressed. Without proper channels of communication, someone is going to end up stranded.

A little run down with regards to entrance plaster dropping off and door frames rotten at bottom , but that's just been picky

Very close to the pool sun all day long and close to facilities

Funny smell in the bathroom very slippy shower no cleaning supplies and not enough utensils for being completely self catering also needs something for shade on the balcony
