Apartamento La Machacona TENERIAS

I can't praise the hostess (Jara) more, extremely helpful, suggested restaurants, nightlife, etc. And when I lost the appartment's key, a replacement was handed in an hour. Confortable house with all necessary equipment, quite clean except for a little problem with the bath drain which was also solved. Excellent location less than 10 minutes from the old city center. It is however a steep climb, possibly unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Small windows provide little natural light and some can't be opened, hindering air circulation. I found it rather odd that the door key is locked together with a key needed to turn on electricity in the appartment. I suppose its purpose if for guests not to leave equipment operating when they go outside, but as you're only given a copy it becomes limitative: if someone wants to go to bed early they need to keep the linked-together keys, and if the other person wants to enjoy the nightlife they have to wake up the other one when they get home. Even so, an excellent experience!
