La Casita de Elsi y Fran

Friendly host. The apartment had a very nice and comfortable balcony and had a very personal touch. Taking dinner on the balcony between the large palm-trees was a great expierience. Perfect spot for exploring the south of Fuerteventura.

Elsi and Fran went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable: from check-in to extending our stay. The bedroom and living room are spacious. The decor is quirky but really nice. The furnishings are good quality. The balcony is spacious and overlooks palm trees. The location is very convenient: quiet, yet close to a supermarket and a few restaurants. And the Internet is really fast! We could work remotely - and do remote conferencing - without any issues. The quality is great, and considering the price, I'd say unbeatable.

Very minor: I think the toilet seat should be tightened.

The place is infested with small bugs, you will find hundreds of them in the kitchen. The frying pans are so old they will burn your food. No salt, oil, sugar or anything else in the kitchen. The bed is a disaster, too soft and with lumps and bumps. The shower is very weird, difficult to regulate the temperature of the water, and there is no way to shower without getting your hair wet. The toilet seat doesn't keep its upside position and will scratch your back as you sit. Overall, it is an old apartment, that was partly renovated, but still, you will feel that it's outdated.
