Arctic River Apartment

Had absolutely everything we needed. Comfortable and spacious compared to a hotel room. Even saw the Northern Lights from the terrace - though because of other buildings they had to be reasonably high. Think you could go down to water’s edge but as we arrived in the dark we were a bit reluctant to investigate in the dark. Would have loved to stay there longer.

If the other buildings weren’t there it would be easier to see Northern Lights - obviously nothing the owners could do.

This is a beautiful apartment in a brilliant location, just outside of town and next to the river. The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful if ever called upon for anything. Although we originally took a taxi to the property, there is a bus (number 14), but we mostly walked (it's just over 1.5km from the nearest shop and a few km from the start of town). We wanted the peace and quiet of being out of town, and that's exactly what we got. The apartment is lovely and it will definitely be my first choice if I head back to Rovaniemi.

Very clean and cozy place. Would be back for sure. Highly recommend.

The location and the hospitality..

Slightly off main town, so u will have to spend taxi cost to city or for supermarkets. This is not negative though as once u reach the location u will fall in love with the place. Ensure u have some food u carry and use any tour activity which has pick up and drop ..The host is helpful and awesome.

Lovley hosts, more than happy to help in every way, Artic River Apartment is in a very Beautiful location and very cozy house indeed :)

I liked everything about the apartment: But the Taxi to nearest store (Lidl) is expensive (approx €20 for 4Km). But Finland is expensive compared to most of Europe.
