Acogedor Apartamento Gara 54 Arguineguin

Bon emplacement.

Apartment is located in a very quiet local neighborhood and if one has a car it is a very convenient place to drive the south of island. It was easy to find a parking spot and there are many supermarkets around.

The apartment is on the ground floor, and one of the windows could not be locked. So when we left the apartment during the day, we felt a bit concerned (all other windows on the ground floors are barred, and it was not very comfortable feeling).

Quiet, convenient, clean apartment. Close to great tapas bistro! Beach nearby, as are markets. Wonderful, self-contained facilities. Easy parking nearby.

Nothing

It was clean and looked like the photos online. Was in walking distance to the town of Arguineguin. Nice and quiet location. Good value for money.

The back door wouldn’t lock, this was fixed 24 hours after it was report but did pose a security risk whilst broke. The handyman also left a sharp knife on the floor in the bedroom whilst mending the door which could have ended badly if it had not been spotted by my partner. The bathroom light wasn’t working and was also fixed but ended up being a health and safety issue as was hanging out of the ceiling near water. No bath towels which would have been helpful. Small cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards. The apartment was incredibly hot, the owner supplies a portable a/c unit which requires you to leave the window open all day and all night which isn’t feasible. If the pipe could go through the wall permanently that would help and the same in the living room.

The cleanness

The host replied every time later. The apartment was really hot: you can’t stay there without the conditioner on all the time, even in the night. There wasn’t a single bottle of water in the fridge, and the water is not drinkable. There was less the minimum things in the apartment for my perspective.
