Apartamentos Estudio Nuevo en Puerto de la Cruz

The apartment is a flat in a condominium. You have a nice view from the balcony to the city and to the hills. Although the flat is small it was comfortable for two of us. The kitchen is also well equipped. They have a washing machine in the bathroom which came in handy for us. Despite of the negative things mentioned below we had a pleasant stay here.

The owner forgot to send me the details of the check-in in advance. Finally I had to call her. In the first two days the wi-fi was not working and the wi-fi code was hidden in the cupboard. When we arrived it was hard to find a parking place near the house but later when we get more familiar with the surroundings we get used to it. The apartment is about 20-25 minutes walk from downtown (uphill backwards) which can be too far for some tourist but it was OK for us. Unfortunately some of the cuttleries and the mugs were not washed properly we had to wash them again before usage.

The view was beautiful, the terrace was great as well.

The biggest let down was the parking. This could be a good property for you if you don't have a car. If you have a rental car this is a no go. While it says there is street parking, basically it is roulette whether you get a spot or not and you have to compete with the local emergency hospital which is a stones throw from the property and has ambulances passing by the door at all hours, lucky without sirens. The location isn't the best on many fronts but particularly for drivers. I wouldn't come again simply because of this daily annoyance its wearing.

We liked the property's view and that it was close to the center. Also, very good kitchen facilities for cooking at home. Nice shower.

It was pretty hot to sleep without a fully opened window. The bed was too narrow for two people to sleep really comfortably. Also, it's just the feature of the place but if you walk by foot home from the city center, you will be walking quite steeply uphill and that might be tiring for some.

Very bright, cozy apartment. Comfortable bed, very clean. Amazing balcony with the mointain view. Quiet area. Easy self check-in and out. Thank you for pleasant stay!

Little minus is the location on top of the hill, for some could be challenging to go by foot. Apartment lacked of basic cooking products like cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Nice, clean space with a great view, comfy bed and very well equipped kitchen.

Nothing to complain about.

The host was wonderful, she even went home and made me sandwich when I arrived in the first night as the plane was delayed by 2 hours, she came to the taxi to see me off, very helpful. And friendly, really want to go back.

I liked everything except the steep hills that leads to the apartment, but a taxi only cost €5 to get there, the location is beautiful and everyone was so friendly a amazing little local around the corner called el faro,

Very quiet with a nice wiew up the Orotava valley.

Could be great if refurnished. Bed is old and squeeky. Waterpump in washing machine makes noise, can be fixed. Wardrope in hallway is too big and eats up space. So does the two seat sofa. Could be better with a bench and some hooks on the wall. Broken dinner plates should be replaced with nicer ones. A completely ruined sofa seat on the balcony should be thrown away.

Well equipped and furnished kitchen and apartment. Really nice views. Quiet. Clean.

The mattress should be replaced, noisy. The east-oriented balcony and window, together with translucent, flimsy curtains meant light flooded the bedroom too early.
