This is a rather difficult property to rate. It's huge and lovely, on three floors, old fashioned living room and bedrooms (3 spacious doubles) beautifully furnished. Good kitchen and bathrooms (2). Separate laundry room and roof terrace. Excellent quiet location for exploring the upper old town of Arucas, and only 5 minutes' walk from the bus station.

You need to be fit if you want this apartment! It's at the top of a (short) very steep street, then it's a flight of stairs from the street door to the front door. And then it's on three floors each with it's own flight of stairs. The second negative is the management company. They are the first I've experienced from Booking.com to have required an additional damage deposit (eur150). To top that, we damaged nothing, but they hadn't paid it back even a week or so after we left. It took intervention by Booking.com to persuade them to do the right thing. Be warned!

En esta ocasión, no puedo explicar nada que me gustase particularmente. Una mala experiencia la tiene cualquiera, o eso dicen…

La gestión del alojamiento es externa (no la hace Booking directamente). Es decir, hay un intermediario que, además, está en otra isla. En Arucas solo disponen del personal de limpieza. Esto hace que el precio se haya encarecido mucho (comparado con el 2025). Mala gestión, cero en experiencia con el cliente. Están pidiendo ya una fianza alta (no es costumbre en Booking) que tardan demasiado tiempo en devolverte a tu tarjeta bancaria. Yo no repetiré nunca más en este lugar (y esta era nuestra 3a vez). Si ciertos alojamientos no satisfacen a la clientela, ¿por qué siguen anunciados en esta plataforma? Este modelo de negocio con más intermediarios solo nos perjudica a los viajeros. En fin…

Yo creo que debería haber algún ventilador en las habitaciones, porque aunque Arucas es fresco con el calor que ha echo estos días y las habitaciones estar en la segunda planta, se calentaban con facilidad, sólo es una observación. No me puedo quejar denada
