Apartment Marja's place

Small but good place for fair price in Rovaniemi! Super friendly host :) Had more utilities than in other places we stayed that is a big advantage (especially for shampoos and etc.).

The only disadvantage is no possibility for contactless check-in, so you need to adjust to the time that brings less freedom in the trip. Otherwise everything was good!

We strongly feel that we want to share our awesome experiences as guests in Marja's place. We arrived after a long flight two hours prior to check-in time standing out of the building in freezing temperatures. We phoned the owner Mr. Salmi asking for help. Mr. Salmi was at the Ski site some 30km away, he immediately told us that he is leaving the Ski on the way to us. Upon arrival, we understood that the apartment was still occupied, and check-in is not possible. Mr. Salmi suggested that he will keep our luggage in his van and offered to take us to visit and spend our time at Santa village (a 15min drive!) not before showing us the city center and other useful locations. We felt his kindness and his willingness to host us in the best manner possible, all with a smile on his face. The apartment was fully equipped - a well-organized kitchen- a wonderful sauna in the bathroom, two beds, etc. one of the best surprises was the living room and the balcony, we had an awesome view of the woods covered with untouched snow in the distance of 30 meters away!! nature was in the apartment - JUST GREAT!! Everything was clean and well organized starting from the bath, kitchen, Just about everything. Only one sentence: Supper cozy apartment! The apartment was a few minute walk from a bus station to the city center which is a great advantage as the taxi fare is not cheap. also large supermarket with all groceries needed.
