La Casita de Brownie

The apartment was at the top of a very high hill, which gave it great views. Quiet location. Interior was gorgeous, fully updated, and very comfortable. Wifi worked great. Kitchen was well equipped. It had a washing machine (we stayed here mid-way through our trip and needed to do laundry to have enough clothes for the second half). There was adequate laundry soap as well as toiletries. We had our daughter with us, and they had already opened the couch into a sofa bed and made the bed for her when we arrived.

The location was a bit far from the center of town, there were no nearby restaurants to even grab a quick breakfast, and the walk to town was incredibly steep. The parking was on a very narrow street that was a steep hill. It was scary parking on the hill, mostly because it was parallel parking, and my car had trouble backing up on the hill. We never had problem finding a parking spot though. No AC in the apartment, which was fine if we kept the windows open, there was a nice breeze, but then it rained. There was only a comforter on the main bed, no top sheet, and it was hot enough we wanted just a sheet. There was no dryer, but they did have a nice drying rack outside. Since it rained, it was hard to dry our clothes.

What a beautiful apartment! Extremely clean and spacious, with a furnished kitchen and stunning view of the ocean. Very good price for what you get!

Not any fault of the apartment itself, but arriving there was a bit tricky. The roads are very narrow and steep, we ended up leaving the car ten minutes away (again not imputable to the apartment itself, google maps was just not working properly).

The apartment is located slightly higher up on the mountain, so it offers amazing views on the city and ocean below - basically from every window in the apartment. I have never showered with a more beautiful view. Also, the place was quite spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The surrounding area is quiet, so it allowed us to sleep well, but wasn't too isolated - just a 10 - 15 min walk to the city center with many options to dine out or get groceries.

Everything was perfect, really. Nothing to complain about :)
