Lapland Sunrise Cottage with lakefront Sauna

Stunning location, stunning cottage. The kids loved the sauna and being able to play on the beach and paddle in the lake. I thought the lack of running water would be a pain but it really wasn't too bad. I'd love to come back and see it in the winter.

Awesome location. Authentic sauna. Super lake view right from the couch. Most relaxing place we have ever visited.

The lack of tap water was shocking for the first. Finally we were getting along with it, but it would have been more honest communication if it had been indicated in the description.

Amazing view and clear instruction on how to setup the sauna (it takes 2-3h to heat up!). Spacious cottage to spend a night over with the lovely fire place in the living room.

It was clearly mentioned about no running water, but still was surprised by the toilet inside the cottage. It is like those in RV that you have to empty it yourself. For one night, we managed to not using it.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cottage. The location is beautiful, 15min away from the city (by car). We had the chance to see northern lights above the lake on the very first night, that was amazing. We read the comments so we knew about the running water, but you are not on your own. The lovely couple owners welcomed us, and explain everything about the cottage. They provide drinkable water, water for the sink, and the sauna. (The sauna needs 2-3 hours to warms up, so be prepared :). )

I did not enjoy the stay dan check out after one night eventhought I booked it for three nights

There is no running water, no instruction about how to use the sauna, there was only one container of tap water for a day. The window blind cannot be operated and only one freezing toilet. The host did not acknowledge that we already check out and about our complain.

Great property. Nice view with sauna. Perfect destination for sauna lovers.

Great communication with the host, very cozy atmosphere. Great sauna and overall experience.

The kitchen and the house in general do not have running water. The water has to be taken out of the lake and boiled over fire (next to the sauna). A container with potable water was provided in the house.
