Great location. Lovely spacious apartment. Quiet area of Altea . Amazing view

No air con in bedroom. A bottle of water on arrival at 2.30am would have been nice .

The apartment is in a good location, had nice views front and back and appears to have had a recent renovation with top notch (IKEA?) kitchen with modern appliances, quirky ceiling lamps (IKEA?) and nice Sony flatscreen TV. Size of rooms is adequate for 2 people but probably a bit of a squeeze for 4.

Owner could have included basic working instructions for new appliances. Only English instructions we found were the owner’s advise to reduce electrical usage. There seemed to be a number of other inconvenient minor issues including: uncomfortable chairs, 3 small economy toilet rolls for a 2 week stay, problems with wi fi and English TV Networks (lost wi fi after a week), owner’s inability to communicate in English (and my lack of Spanish) and a badly laid tile floor in the kitchen with loose and cracked tile. Finally, we noticed a number of deficiencies in booking description. There was no extra toilet, no bidet, no desk, no garden view, back terrace is home to 20 - 30 pigeon coops, no lake view, no closet/wardrobe (unless this refers to the cleaning supply closet in the kitchen).

Very nice location. Balcony was great to relax, have a drink and watch the people passing by. Everything was very clean and we liked the fact the toilet was separated from the bathroom. Tea, sugar, vinegar were already there. Modern decoration, nice athmosphere.

For us the matrass was too soft so we didn't sleep well and had backpain. But this is personal and we both have a weak back. A small wastebin in the toilet and bathroom would be nice.

Location, views, well stocked.

Although the owner likes to attribute the shortcomings of the home to being in Old Town, this does not mean the furniture and items in the home need to be old and worn. The furniture is quite old and uncomfortable; it needs updating. We also found the unit very noisy; you can hear the neighbours upstairs constantly. There are pigeon coups right outside the bedroom windows, and they can be disturbing in the morning. The internet was unusable, leaving us with no choice but vacating the property 3 days earlier (with no refund).

Perfect location for us. Easy walk to really good restaurants. Not too far from the beach. We felt we were part of a community with friendly neighbours and pigeons.

Lovely decorated apartment, in a great location. Altea is a great base for exploring the Costa Blanca. There's no nasty high-rise holiday apartments, and there are loads of great shops and restaurants a few seconds away from the apartment. Beds, bathroom and living room are all comfortable. The host was very friendly and responsive on Whatsapp.

In the evenings, parking is a little tricky, but we did always find a space a few minutes walk away. A few more cooking pots would have been useful.
