The location was excellent and the service was friendly and fast.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean. Our baby was lying on the floor and her hands were covered in hair and other dirt. The host offered us to clean it again, which was very kind. However, we did not take it because we had all our personal belongings in the apartment. The washing machine smelled and this smell stuck to our washed clothes. My husband had to throw a couple of clothes in the trash. The ventilation was also bad and some of the clothes were still damp after two nights. There were some ambiguities with the parking lot. At first, we were only advised about the nearest parking lots. When we were almost there, we were only told that the host's contracted parking lot is located almost a kilometer away from the accommodation.

Stayed here for 5 nights at end of October. Great location and nice apartment but as others have commented it needs some attention. We were met at apartment on arrival and 'quickly' shown around and handed keys. Staff member had little time for us to check things or to answer any questions, he seemed in a hurry referring us instead to contact details and information on back of front door. Disappointingly, despite being raised by other quests in previous comments, there are a number of maintenance issues that have not been fixed or replaced. Kitchen floor tile - broken and dangerous. Kitchen stools - fabric torn need replaced. Upstairs bathroom - tap fixing very loose as reported by others - within 2 minutes I was able to tighten fixing by hand from underneath basin!! A quick and easy fix. Terrace - awning broken, bits lying about terrace. Cleaning - while generally clean, a number of surfaces and ornaments hadn't been cleaned/dusted for a while (e.g. upstairs table lamp was thick with dust). Number of furnishings were a bit tired. On first morning the electricity went off, I phoned guest services who instructed me to reset at switches at electricity box. Electricity went off again, I realised this happened every time we switched on kettle. Spoke to questions services again and asked for replacement kettle. This was promptly dealt with and a new kettle was delivered same afternoon. No further issues. On check out used guest services luggage storage service which was very convenient. Apartment centrally located and within easy walking distance of everything. Would have rated apartment higher if it had been better maintained. Very disappointing that a number of same issues were raised by other guests over previous months and whe acknowledged by guest services in their responses don't appear to have done anything. This is something Genteel Home need to address.

The location is perfect. The apartment is spacious, bright & well laid out.

It needs some upgrading. The awning on the terrace was broken when we got there, we were there a full week & it wasn’t repaired or replaced. The kitchen needs some attention, there’s a broken floor tile that is dangerous, we reported it but nothing was done. There are only about 3 matching wine glasses, 1 chopping board, no tea towels. The stool covers are torn. Small things that don’t cost much to do but make a difference. The kitchen bin was broken & the bathroom drain was slightly blocked but they were attended to promptly. I think the service company does a good job, they were responsive, but I suspect the owner doesn’t want to spend money. That’s a shame because it is a lovely apartment in a superb location that could be really excellent with a little attention.

A very central flat, friendly check in staff. Met all our needs, very comfortable. Air conditioning seemed to be on a timer which switched off at night and would not come back on! Making sleeping quite uncomfortable at times.

The air conditioning seemed to have a mind of its on and switched it’s self off during the night and would not come back on until 8am We even download the instructions but could not over ride the timer.

It’s very central in a pedestrian street and only 5 min away from the cathedral or the shopping streets. Just 5 min from taxi as well. Clean and nice welcome pack. Staff always available, even when we had a problem with A/C at night we could talk to someone helping us to fix the issue.

- amazing location, 5 mins to Cathedral - everything you need for living, including all washing tablets for laundry and bathroom liquids - extra towels & lots of bathing liquids, we didn’t use all of them - lots of additional small electronics like blender or toaster - great and quiet building - super friendly and nice staff - easy key return

- sofa had some faults during transformation to the futon bed, but didn’t impact the quality of sleep - pillows could be slightly tighter, I had to use two of them to sleep comfortably
