Marlin II Puerto del Carmen

Property was spotless, great location overlooking the harbour, basically home from home, Met the owner who very helpful and already looking to book again.

We spent 5 nights at Oscar’s apartment and enjoyed our stay. The location is great, close to the city center (there was even a funfair during our stay, which made the evenings lively), yet quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The apartment is compact, but very clean and well equipped. We especially loved the peaceful pool just a few steps away, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. Oscar was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything easy. Just a small tip if you’re arriving by car: when looking for the stairs to go down to the apartment, don’t take the first ones with a closed gate — walk a little further and you’ll find a second set of stairs that’s open and leads you directly to the right place.

Since the apartment gets a lot of sunlight during the day, it can get quite warm at night in the summer. There is air conditioning in the living room, which helps, but it might still feel a bit hot for sleeping — especially if you’re sensitive to heat.

A very comfortable modern apartment with everything you need provided. A bottle of.white wine chocolates, water and a bowl of fruit were very personal touches and much appreciated after our journey. An amazing view of the harbour on your doorstep, excellent to enjoy breakfast watching the boats go in and out. Smashing wee secluded pool area with security entrance. Very quiet area but only a 5min walk along the harbour to plenty of eating places and shops. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Oscar.

Everything was amazing about this property, the apartment had everything you could think of available, amenity wise. There was a little welcome pack with some fruit and water to get you started and a welcome bottle of bubbly which was a lovely touch! The location was amazing looking right across the harbour in the old town Puerto Del Carmen with a communal pool and sitting area to enjoy the afternoon sunshine as well as a nice balcony. The communication from the host was first class, first time I had booked an apartment abroad through booking.com so I was a little apprehensive that everything would run smoothly but I needn’t had worried, it was great!!

I’m only being very picky here but mainly because the apartment gets the sun most of the afternoon and into the evening, as well as it being all low energy lights that produce heat. It can get pretty hot particularly in the bedroom and the air con struggles to cope with the heat of the apartment. There is a little fan in the bedroom but I just suggest a bigger more powerful fan and that would probably solve that problem.

Beautiful and very well maintained apt,lovely lady met us on arrival,so kind and Oscar the owner always ready to help with any queries,have booked again,.There was also a lovely bottle of Proseco and fruit basket as a welcome,nice touch,a bit hilly but still we managed at our own pace,beautiful views of harbour,good selection of restaurants, a big 10 from us,tks all.

Nothing

This appartment was in a Beautiful location and presented to perfection. Attention to detail is an under statement. It had everything you could think of. No egg cups for a boiled egg the Only thing I found missing, but that's being picky. We booked Marlin 1 for next Easter which is next door and is even better if that can be possible. I watched the cleaner when sunbathing and the standard she worked to was a credit to herself and the Marlin.

The Apartment was modern and well finished and ideally located for the harbour and restaurants. The host provided a start up pack including food, drink and cleaning materials all were very much appreciated.
