Quiet and nice location.

Everything was just perfect

A lovely apartment in a great location. Modern, bright, well appointed and lovely furniture. Comfortable beds

The only down side and actually quite significant, was the lack of toilet paper and hand wash. Shampoo and body wash were provided both new and full bottles. When we requested toilet paper and hand wash we were informed that the policy of the apartment was that visitors needed to supply their own toilet paper and hand wash. In 20 years of travel in Europe, UK, USA Japan, Thailand, NZ, Pacific islands and Australia, we have never needed to supply our own toilet paper or hand wash. Nor were there any coffee pods provided and the the machine required unique and extremely expensive pods

We liked that it was in a quiet location. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked. It looked like the pictures provided on booking.com.

We arranged a time to meet at the property, however no one turned up. We waited almost an hour, after which l went searching for public wifi. This was very frustrating especially as we clearly explained that we had no access to wifi. The second bedroom was poorly equipped. There were 2 beds, no bedside tables and a cupboard that was difficult to access.

The size of the place, the small kitchen and the small patio with clothes line. We didn't use it for anything else as is enclosed on all sides and doesn't seem to get any sun in November. Quiet as slightly away from plaza de Hercules . Location good for us but be prepared to walk to the main areas a kilometre or more. There are quite a few restaurants, small groceries etc within a block or two. The area feels more local than closer to the main tourist attractions.

Lack of any extra towels(one per person for a week) especially since there is no dryer. 2 rolls of toilet paper for a week( 1 was a part roll) Took several days before they came to fix the broken cable for the TV. Also would be great if a complimentary coffee was provided for the first morning or at least instructions on where to buy the specific pods and other essentials. Map and recommendations for restaurants and buses might also be helpful.

Nicely situated in the old town, the location was great. Being in an old residential building was also nice, with local neighbours and a lovely courtyard. Communication from the host was timely, helpful and good and we were able to arrange a convenient check in time. The apartment was a good size with plenty of equipment and a good drying area outside for clothes.

Some little bits of maintenance would be useful, only one light in the salon worked, the bed headboard had come loose, and the kitchen could do with a deep clean (e.g. the microwave) as we felt inclined to wash many of the utensils before using. Maybe after the season, they should check all the equipment and replace faulty items like the place mats, that were beyond repair. Oh, and one or two bugs too many (ants etc), need to get the insect spray out.
