Clean apartment with nice kitchen

No curtains in the windows, only shades which is not enough to block the sunlight, cannot sleep soundly because of the bright sunlight early in the morning.

The pictures don’t really do it justice, much more spacious and nicer than it looks. Really nicely decorated, quirky little touches make it feel cosy and like a home. Great facilities, especially the smart TV so you can just log on to your own streaming services, a well equipped kitchen with even tea/coffee etc. essentials, shampoo and conditioner etc. in the bathroom. And two fans which were useful in the summer! The location is quiet but still near the railway station and the central square, easy walking everywhere. Even some granny bikes were provided although unfortunately we did not have time to use them this time. The host checked on us (by message) a day or so into the stay so we knew she was there, but she also left us to enjoy the property in peace. The check in was very smooth with the lock box, no need to agree specific time for meet up. We were here to see my parents who live in Tampere and as long as this place is available, I think we have found our new Tampere HQ for any future visits!

At a stretch if I have to find something I didn’t like it was probably dragging the big luggage on to the fourth floor with no elevator. But you can’t do much about that!

Great apartment on the edge of the city centre - about 10 to 15 minutes walk. This was an advantage - it was easy to park for free outside the apartment building, and it was quiet (despite being next to a railway line). It’s a roomy space, although almost all the cupboards were full of stuff so there wasn’t much storage space. The kitchen was well equipped, with a few useful things for cooking which we were free to use.

One thing to bear in mind - there’s no lift in the apartment block, it’s quite a few flights up, and a bit of a walk from the street.
