Apartamento Los Naranjos en Vejer

La amabilidad de Ana y de sus padres. Además el apartamento es tal y como muestran las fotos, amplio y bien ubicado. Vejer es un pueblo dónde siempre quieres volver!

La atención, la comodidad del departamento, la ubicación, la limpieza. La atención de su dueña fue excelente, todo el tiempo se preocupó por nuestra estancia en el departamento, en el horario de llegada, todo impecable!!

Confortable y limpísimo en un sitio inmejorable

Location and easy parking

I would not recommend this property. While the location in Vejer de la Frontera is beautiful, the apartment was in very poor condition. One bathroom was completely unusable, and the other had a major plumbing issue with the toilet tank constantly refilling — we were kept awake from 4am due to the noise, and the bathroom even flooded. There was clear damp and water damage on the walls, and the furniture and bedding felt wet and uncomfortable. The bathrooms also had a persistent unpleasant smell. The place needed a thorough clean, we found one of the chopping boards was dirty but placed in the kitchen drawers, all the handles in the bathroom drawers were sticky and didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a while (per photo attached) Most concerning, however, was the host’s behaviour. Mistakes happen - After politely raising these issues and mentioning that we’d be contacting Booking.com, we received a string of hostile and unprofessional messages. The host accused us of lying, said we had brought the dirt and the bad smell ourselves, and implied we were the problem — despite having acknowledged the plumbing issue earlier and saying a plumber was on the way. She also falsely said we’d waited till an hour before departure to raise the issues, which is completely untrue. I contacted her after the first night, and then we were out all day and noticed the smell and plumbing issues as we returned late on the second night. We were only there 2 nights, so short of messaging every single hour, I don’t think I could have done more. The entire exchange was unnecessary, rude, and upsetting — especially while we were trying to enjoy a holiday. This was a stressful and unpleasant experience from start to finish. I’ve rented many apartments through booking.com and Airbnb, and I can safely say this was our worst experience by far. I strongly advise avoiding this property unless it undergoes necessary repairs and the host rethinks how they treat guests.

Great place to stay and really friendly hosts. They don't speak much English and we don't speak much Spanish but we worked it out.
