Communication with the host was efficient with quick replies (note that you have to use the translation facility of Booking.com if you don't write Spanish). The apartment was spacious and clean with all essential necessities including three cups of coffee, one for each day. I found the area to be safe and nice, but do note that it's not very centrally located - you have to travel by bus or car if you want to go anywhere. The advantage is that the area is nice and quiet. The pool in the yard looked really great, even though I personally didn't use it. The use of the Staymyway app was easy. You can pre-check-in at home, and once that has been approved the app is ready to open the doors for you when you need it. In addition there is a key at the premises (to open the outer door) which you can take with you in case your phone runs out of power or is lost. You also get a code you can use to open the apartment door - remember to write it down and take it with you. I found it also possible to use the app on more than one phone - this gives extra certainty plus acts as extra sets of keys which is great if you're more than one person.

The building itself is not as isolated noise-wise as I would prefer, meaning that occasional sounds from neighbours can be heard. Saturday night there was a pool party going on which was quite noisy - but it ended at 23.00 after which all was nice and quiet again. If you're very sensitive to noise bring a pair of earplugs. But really, it's a minor issue.

Bluetooth and Wi-fi access through the Staymyway app was awesome. It was one less thing to worry about forgetting or loosing. It was a 20 min ride to the Auditorio Miguel-Rios and the Airport.

Nice to be able to cater for myself.

It was a little noisy - the hallway when people talk; outside activity/tennis when I tried to go to sleep.
