This was a good little flat with everything I needed for a short stay.

There was a mix up with the lock box code. Once I got the host on the phone, it was sorted relatively quickly. But it was very confusing for a while, trying lots of different lock boxes and not being able to open any.

Two singles instead of a double bed

The host was SO lovely and kind. She allowed us to drop off the luggage while we waiting for the check in time. Great location and the apartment was beautiful.

Not a great deal.

The room and bathroom didn't feel comfortable at all.. bathroom was dated. The windows from bed area looked straight out onto street. The washing machine was only accessible through the basement. There was inadequate lighting, you had to bed over significantly to avoid hitting your head on pipes from ceiling, the paint on the ceiling of the laundry room was shredding and hanging down over the entire ceiling, there was no instructions on how to use the machine in English, the number to call to activate machine was answered by machine and didn't give an opportunity to talk to someone. The key to door of appartment was faulty and hard to open door. The person who met us was hard to get hold of. My friend and I felt so uncomfortable there that we left within a couple of hours after arriving. While forfeiting our money wasn't ideal, we'd rather be out of there than stay. Also, as 65 and 70 year olds having to get to the basement for laundry was dangerous. Both of us have travelled the world extensively and this is the first time we have had to leave an apartment not long after arriving.
