Gorgeous apartment by the sea

Susanna was very helpful and the apartment was great for our 2-night stay. It is perfectly placed by the water on an island, the views are beautiful and parking was available for free.

Technically, it is a 3-bedroom flat. However, one of the rooms was made by putting up two plasterboards to cut off one corner of the living room. This space has no windows at all and it was very dark. Felt very claustrophobic. It would be much better if they cut a hole in the plasterboard for a window into the small living area, or even better if they take the walls down completely and have a pull-out sofa for those extra guests, if needed.

Location is great - quiet neighbourhood and it was easy to get to Helsinki Olympic Stadium by bus. The view from the garden and windows is beautiful. Just a step out from the garden and you can go swimming or walking/running on the trail. Kitchen was well-equipped, the only things we missed were pan, soup scoop and pan spatula. Easy check-in and check-out. The host responded very quickly to my questions.

To go to the bathroom you have to go through one of the bedrooms. It seemed that just one thin door separates the apartment from neighbours - in the morning I woke up because of noises from another apartment.

Public transport need a bit of walk, but in nice environment.
