Fantastic location, amazing hospitality, and the cosiest home away from home

Pekka and Outi were lovely hosts. We’ve received a warm welcome and they made sure we’ve got everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the Sauna, comfortable beds and the kids the loved playing outside in the backyard (the little present they e received). Thanks again for these memories.

Pekka and Outi were the best! They were always so kind and very happy to help. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. The house has a perfect location: near to the city center, near to the best view for northern lights and close to husky and reindeer walks. We can strongly recommend using the jacuzzi and the BBQ for extra value, it is worth it! If we come again to visit Lapland, this would be our first choice!

Everything was just great.

I don't where to start except to say I highly recommend this choice. Hosts were extremely accommodating, warm and efficient in helping us. The house is warm, cozy and fully equipped. We loved the decor - animal skins on furniture and antlers hanging off the chandeliers. Beds were comfortable, thermostat is manual, and it has a sauna and a hot tub (extra cost) which was so much fun with family. Hosts provided affordable taxi services including to/from airport/ski hills, even last minute. Being outside the town centre made it extra special, snowy and dark; apparently on very clear nights Aurora shows herself nearby but we weren't so lucky. This place encapsulates Lapland!

Villa Shaman was the perfect location for the city and was a great location for all attractions in and around Rovanemi. The house was perfectly clean, comfortable and the facilities of the hot tub and sauna made our stay really great. Pekka and Outi were so welcoming and were always willing to help.

We stayed as a family of 6! We loved that we was out the way of the tourist area. The background was a bonus as the kids could you out and play in the snow and be safe. The hosts were amazing at providing pick up from the airport and transport to and from SCV. The property had everything you need. There is a small shop that you can walk to in 10 minutes. The home was very comfortable and very homely. Throughly enjoyed our first visit to beautiful Finland!
