great location right in the Center of old town. well equipped, perfect for what was required.

bathroom was very small and the shower was either cold or red hot.

It was one of the best experiance. A very nice, confirrable apparment at the heart of the historical city. Close to all main activities, restaurants and sightseeings. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The stairs were a little bit challenging

Terrace is lovely, flat is compact but cute. Host was very kind and friendly. Great location and just perfect for Santa Tecla.

Stairs up to apt are spiral and very steep. Our host was very nice and carried the case up or we would have struggled. Bathroom and kitchen are tiny, it was manageable for a few days but the shower wasn't fun. Locations the key here.

The host, Ferran, was amazing. He was kind, courteous, and generous with his time. He helped with the luggage upon arrival and even came back on a day off to help me bring it down when I left. Ferran was also very quick to respond to questions. The apartment is in a great location. You can walk everywhere from there. The unit is well-equipped. The internet connection downstairs is solid. The connection upstairs, despite a repeater, is not ideal for a Zoom meeting, but for normal use or regular streaming, it’s more than adequate. The terrace gets a lot of sun and there’s a nice roll out cover for shade. The apartment was stocked with cleaning supplies and there were some nice welcome snacks and refreshments in the refrigerator.

As many reviewers have noted, the stairs are narrow and spiral. The bottom floor of the apartment is not level. It’s something to keep in mind if you have balance issues. The upper floor and the terrace are fine. I expected issues such as these. What I didn't expect was the art. The art above the sofa upstairs was not something that would be appropriate in the background of a web meeting like virtual volunteering or a family chat. The images in the listing on Booking.com had empty walls in that area of the apartment. Plain walls are appealing because you don’t have to worry about what’s behind you if you’re on camera. Without it behind you you could move the table so that the natural light from the terrace is the main source of light. There were also professional looking photos of Tarragona throughout the apartment that were great, but the artwork on that wall didn’t seem like a good fit for a rental. I'm not sure it's appealing to a wide audience. There was a placard with the name of an artist on that wall, so perhaps these are rotated with different artists. What was there when I arrived was not ideal.
