Majesteetti Apartments

Located well enough for our needs. 7/11 downstairs was a bonus. Apartment was clean and bright. Linens were clean, kitchen large with dishwasher and washing machine was very useful. Well supplied kitchen. Host was very responsive and swapped out a kettle which was dirty (perhaps someone cooked Glugi with it??) Sauna was very nice and bathroom large enough. Great storage for winter clothing, made getting ready in the morning easy.

No instructions on how to turn on the sauna. We figured it out eventually on the first night but a guide would have been useful. Sauna also didn't have a clock or thermometer either. Main sleeping bed in the living room (fold out couch) has been overused and has a soft spot in the middle. 6 days was Ok but a nicer bed would have been welcome. Perhaps time for a new couch. One curtain was missing from the living room so the street lights flood into the living room at night.

It is close to downtown Rovaniemi. The house is cozy and warm. Of course, it is quite clean. I recommend it to other travelers.

Clean standard accommodation suitable for a couple of friends wanting a place for a few days. Furnishing is efficient without the little extras to make it feel like home. The bathroom is clean, with towels provided.

Roveneimi is primarily a winter destination with Santa Village, Skiing, etc. We visited in summer when temperatures were 20c plus the whole 4 days our views might be different to majority. Lack of air conditioning was definitely a problem. The apartment got very warm, making it difficult to sleep. There was a balcony with large windows that might have helped release the hear had we been able to open them. However,the strings didn't work. There were a Cople of mats on the floor that no longer lie flat, causing a trip hazard.if one forgets. There is a sauna inside the apartment, but we didn't find any instructions on how to use it. Finally, there was no washing powder in the apartment for the machine. We understand that there is no obligation on a host to provide these little extras, but we are well travelled and have stayed in many places where extras are added.

Great location, convenient to bus stops, city centre and also the convenience store just below the apartment. Clean with all needs met.

Scheduled key pick up was quite late at 4pm. Then it actually hadn't been left as instructed so had to make a phone call and get it dropped out. This was rectified quickly however and communication was good throughout.

The address was given quite late, and there was a change, even though it was not that far from the original address, for us we need to take 3 luggages walking uphill for 15 mins
