Lapin Kutsu Luulampi Apartments

Our stay was wonderful and comfortable. The location is perfect--a few minutes' walk from the Holiday Club bus stop or other bus stops. Checking in was easy and straight, as the key was in the lockbox. The host shared the lockbox code in a message. Snow covered all around the area. The apartment is present in the F block. The apartment has all things including a sauna. We tried the sauna for the first and experienced it. We reached there by public bus from Rovaniemi city. K-market is nearby to buy all the essentials if you want to cook in the apartment. The apartment is missing Wi-Fi. Saariselka is a wonderland in winter. You can easily get all the required things. There are lots of activities you can do in Saariselka.

Brilliant location, suites very well also guests travelling without a private car, as both the busstop and supermarket are nearby. Compact studio with a nice sauna and very well equipped kitchen. Excellent price-quality ratio, would happily stay here again.

A little drafty during the coldest days (-30’C). Ironically - considering that I was visiting during the polar night - there is lots of light coming in from outdoors 24/7. Better curtains or blinds would be very necessary. In the meanwhile, if you prefer to sleep in the dark, bring a sleeping mask!

Just behind Holiday Club. Walking distance to busstop to catch the bus to Rovaniemi. Clean and pretty studio.

an own sauna belongs to the apartment, which is super good. There was a huge dryer which was very good, after a snowy day, to dry all the wet clothes. A supermarket located in 5 minutes walk.

The property had a great location and low price.

Upon arrival, we struggled to enter the unmanned office to collect the keys. The code provided did not work and the staff member on the phone reluctantly gave us a new code after five minutes on the phone. This would not have been so bad had we not been standing around and waiting in temperatures of -23c. Unfortunately, the staff who run the property were very aggressive after we left. We had paid for towels and linen. Upon collecting our keys, there was a bag of linen and towels which we assumed were for us so we took it with us. When we arrived to the apartment, there were towels for each person but no linen. After leaving, a staff member called us and said we had taken the towels and linen for ourselves, accusing us of stealing. I explained that this was a mistake as we assumed the bag had been left for us as we had paid for towels and linen. The staff threatened to call the police, demanded money and left several messages harassing me. I feel like they could have handled the situation much more reasonably. Had they responded in a calmer manner, I would have happily returned here for another stay.

Very clean and great kitchen space.

I found it strange and inconvenient they charged extra for towel and sheets. Sheets seem like a basic amenity. The sauna didn’t really work.

Being so close to supermarket and many activities was great. Accommodation very comfortable and had everything you needed.

Only issue was the sauna in our apartment didn't work, which was a bit disappointing.
