"I concluded that it would have been better to pay more and stay in an apartment without dampness and unpleasant smell."

Location.

A very narrow apartment. A slanted bed mattress, which was uncomfortable for two people to sleep on. Extremely high humidity, which caused an unpleasant damp smell in the apartment. Dirty carpets in the hallways. The air conditioner caused water to drip from the ceiling.
