First of all I paid for TWO BEDROOM apartment, but the apartment is ONE ROOM and two beds, where the second bed was on the attic with no separation wall. BUT as the name suggests, a 2-bedroom apartment is a unit that has two separate and distinct bedrooms. Each bedroom must have at least one window, a door, and have permanent walls that demarcate each room. The space inside must be enough for at least a bed and a dresser. The apartment was not clean, the sheets and the towels were dirty and we didn't have even one glass to drink water. We had only TWO bath towels, but we were three persons and the most awful thing, that even those two towels weren't clean!! The owner didn't respond to us, when we tried to ask him to bring even one more clean towel and to change sheets to clean ones. There are signs of women's critical days on the sheets. There is an air conditioner in the room, but there wasn't a remote control to launch it on and the room with no window was very humid and it was unbearably uncomfortable to sleep. There was no shampoo, nor soap in the bathroom and even only one roll of toilet paper. The toilet seat is broken and I almost slipped while sitting on it. It is terrible! We tried to contact the booking.com support, because we want to complaint about this, but booking is answering only once in 24 hours and, as for the second message to the booking support, we haven't got the answer from them for more than 48 hours already. The bottom line: the place sucks!! The pictures and the description of the place are not what it is. Don't book it. The booking.com, please, remove it from the listing. The places like this one we booked spoil ALL the impression on being in beautiful Lyon and France like whole place. Please, consider this opinion.

Nothing

There are no windows despite the picture. Street level apartment with door that opens right onto sidewalk and busy street is a terrible security concern. Smelled like smoke. Air-conditioning did not work. Neighborhood is run down and so is apartment building. We called and emailed the owner to express our concerns but we never received a response. We complained to Booking.com and they could not communicate with the listing agent in French or English. Who is the agent? Why would Booking allow this listing?and they Booking only offered to refund us less than 15% of the total cost. Very disappointing. I will not use Booking.com any more.

It's better to have three signgle bed than one single bed and one couple bed

clean and cheap

basic things missing like limited towels , no bread knife, no corkscrew .. very simple but impactful.
