Writing this expressly to say that David Huszka, our Banquet Captain and man of literally ALL work, needs a raise and an assistant. He literally keeps that place running and is doing the jobs of five people yet was always responsive and unfailingly accommodating and polite. He is a gem!

My company hosted an offsite at Lone Star Court for about 45 employees, and the experience was excellent. The team loved the outdoor space and fresh air, which was a welcome change from the usual full-day sessions in windowless conference rooms. The rooms were spacious, retro, and rustic in the best way. The bed was incredibly soft, the fridge was well stocked, the shower was perfectly hot and relaxing, and the welcome water and beer were a great touch. David, our main banquet associate, was truly outstanding. He handled everything on his own, always with a warm attitude and a willingness to help. We asked for a lot, and he never once made it feel like a burden. His support made our entire stay smoother and more comfortable. Thank you, David! Winnie, from the restaurant, was another standout. She was kind, attentive, and consistently on top of service, especially clearing plates promptly and keeping the space tidy. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially with its convenient proximity to The Domain for dining and shopping. We’re already looking forward to coming back either as a company or on my own.

We hosted a business offsite trip and the stay was amazing! Brenda, Shemmy, and the front desk staff were amazing to work with, but David, the banquet supervisor, was the star of the show! He was truly a one man show in helping our event go off flawlessly. From food and beverage, to furniture, to AV, David did it all in a respectful and timely manner. He is incredible!

My daughter and I come down for a UT game every year, and Lone Star Court has become part of that tradition. Everything about this place is top notch — from the friendly staff and fun, relaxed vibe to the retro fridge in the room that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into classic Texas charm. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the on-site restaurant always hits the mark, and we love that the food trucks are just steps away. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, style, and Austin character. We’ll keep coming back every year!

Rooms were clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. I love the outdoor seating and fire pits available. I would totally stay again!
