Check in and check out times are stupidly absurd. My fault for not realising as I've traveled round the world but never found a place which puts the checkout timing from 1am to 9am which is the exact night you pay to stay for and is it fair to not expect such absurd timing? They charge 25 quid per "early check in" and "late check out" to make the timing standard to hotels which truly felt like a scam and far from early nor late in reality for usage. Check in as well in the evening at 6pm. Maddening and not condusive for travellers which in the town of Taunton is even worse as everything closes by the time you can even check in. Clocks on the walls were dead. Internet hardly or not even working as they use old cabling systems. TV cant access anything without internet which leaves you without the facilities of the place (Tv cant even load a youtube video). States bath or shower but clearly bath was never availiable which felt like a scam. Rolls of tissue provided were stained from previous use. Price doesn't match the value of the place.

I needed to stay in the city for a fire risk assessment training course. The next nearest property was £300 more expensive, so I feel this stay was good value for money. The hosts exchanged messages with me in advance with my stay to ensure I had all the info I needed.

Tv didn’t work but other than that alright place

Easily accessible

Not much. The large flat screen TV with streaming services and the washing machine/dryer were okay, but the bad aspects far outweighed the good.

Almost everything. The windows were really old and not sealed properly, and little bugs and spiders were coming in. The bed was disgusting with stains and hairs everywhere, and it was a nightmare trying to get onto it because they had squeezed it into a space that was far too small for a double bed and there was zero space on either side, so you had to get onto it from the foot of the bed and then slide yourself backwards; and since it clearly hadn't been washed for some time, I had to just lay a towel down and sleep on top. This "studio" was so horribly cramped. You couldn't even swing a mouse in it, let alone a cat. And to add insult to injury, the entrance door was RIDICULOUSLY heavy, and it didn't even open up fully, so you had to squeeze yourself through whilst really struggling to hold it open. It was a joke, and it was complete false advertising because you get the impression from the photos that's it's more spacious; and it's confusing too because they were showing pictures of their larger apartments. They're deceptive and they're also downright liars because it said there was dishwasher, but there certainly wasn't one. It makes me SICK that I spent so much money on this pokey little hole, but I was ill most of the time and had no choice but to stay until I felt able to leave. Anyway, they've got a nice big chunk of my savings now so I hope they're happy. They're so damn lazy. They couldn't even be bothered to clean things properly and make it nice for a guest. I had to spend extra money on a whole bunch of cleaning products, but obviously I could only do so much. There was no way I was going to tackle those disgusting bed sheets, so I just had to lay one of the towels on the bed and sleep on top of it. All in all I bitterly regret that I ever booked it, and it's a big relief to be out of there. I think I can safely say that I won't be "hitting the hay" anytime soon.
