"Amazing place to stay."

The apartment had everything you need. The decor was fabulous, the beds comfortable, the whole place was spotless. The owner Penny was an amazing. Location was perfect for walking into Ilfracombe.

"One of the nicest places we've ever stayed"

We're an itchy feet family and have stayed in a lot of rentals - this was one of loveliest we've ever stayed in. I was a bit sad to leave! The bed was SO comfy and the second (kids) bedroom was far from the afterthought it can sometimes be. The kids really loved it. Very high quality fixtures and fittings and I took some design tips home to use in my own house. Touches like good lamps and crockery and good art on the walls do make a big difference I think! Lovely bath and shower, great kitchen which was simple and clean yet had everything we needed. We met Cosmo the cat on the lawn outside and fell in love with him! Very handy location for Ilfracombe, had a great day wandering round and visiting the tunnel beaches and another day (when the sun actually made an appearance!) at Woolacombe. My tip to other visitors would be to head right from Woolacombe to the lovely Barricade beach (nice cafe that Penny recommended) and when the tide is out walk along the stretch to the right for a quieter vibe (no lifeguards though) and lovely secret swim hole with pretty shells if you look hard enough. We hope to come back and stay again, thanks so much Penny.
