Our group of 12 hired a 2 and a 3 bedroom cottage and all bedrooms have en suite facilities or their own private bathroom! The kitchen is well equipped and there’s plenty of space for people to socialise! There’s a nice walk around the grounds plus a coffee shop/restaurant open until 3pm but we only had coffee there as we catered for ourselves! Great for exploring the Sperrins and beyond.

A dishwasher would have been handy and the heating is on a set timer that’s not accessible and we would have hit “boost” a few times if we could have! Apart from that the cottages are really homely.

Cosy, well equipped cottages, great for a family gathering.

Have been doing the walks around the area for about 16 years now and have always wanted to stay in one of the cottages after a walk. The cottage was clean, quiet, cosy and well equipped and is in a perfect spot to explore the locals Sperrin dives and walks and ancient history. Many thanks to Catriona and all the other staff for making us feel so totally welcome…it really makes a big difference.

Peace Quiet friendliness helpfulness of stafc

Peaceful, cosy, remote, yet just 20 mins drive to town. Great shower and I really liked the mattress.

Could have done with a chopping board in the kitchen.
