Taigh Na Frithe

Perfect location for exploring the sights of the Scottish Highlands. The cottage is excellent – well-equipped with everything you need, including the convenience of doing some laundry during your stay. It’s clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Service was great too. After our first night, we unfortunately had no more hot water. We contacted the owner, Kyle, who responded quickly. He was in Edinburgh at the time and gave us a few instructions to try and fix it. To our surprise, he ended up driving all the way from Edinburgh to Fort Augustus to sort out the issue himself. Truly exceptional service – and he's a genuinely kind person. Also very dog-friendly. Kyle has two dogs of his own, so our four-legged friend felt right at home. Would we stay here again? If the opportunity arises – absolutely.

A few minor points for improvement: the vacuum cleaner was full when we arrived, but it wasn’t a big deal. The TV is a bit slow to respond, but again, not a major issue. All in all, these were just small things and didn’t affect our stay.

Good location, clean, comfortable, helpful host. Great accommodation and would recommend. I will use again.

The accommodation was easy to find, has good facilities, this little cabin had everything we needed and found it to be cosy and comfortable, great location within walking distance to the town will book again whenever we get the chance to come back

The stand alone cottage had everything one needs including a washing machine. That was a big plus for us. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Appliances were easy to work with exception of tv. We just couldn’t figure it out. We loved the location.

Our needs were met and there was nothing that we didn’t like.
