Farm lodge

Loads of space, lovely atmosphere and character, peaceful location.

Value for money. Able to take a large group. Location convenient for local wedding. Everything provided from washing machines, dishwasher and dishwasher tablets, hairdryer, toilet paper, air fryer, fans, great shower….fantastic! Everything had been thought about.

Uncomfortable beds.

Perfect for our group trip to Glastonbury. The location was ideal and a short drive away from Glastonbury which suited us all just fine. Vicki the Host was amazing and extremely accomodating and even decorated the lodge for us with birthday banners. We arranged an early check in which was no issue at all. I had thought I’d arranged a late check out so we were surprised that a cleaner arrived on Sunday and told us it was time to go. However this must have been my mistake I concluded.

It was exceptionally hot so it was a little uncomfortable to sleep. There were 2 small fans but due to the lodge being wooden cladding, it really was boiling. There was a small break in the decking which a chair leg fell down when one of our party sat on it. she was fine but I imagine if you were to step on that broken part you could really hurt your ankle.

Vicki allowed us a much earlier check in which we had requested as we wanted to get ready for an afternoon wedding in the area. When we returned at about 11:00pm the lodge was warm and inviting. In the morning we appreciated the large and bright kitchen / dining and lounge area which easily accommodated 8 of us.

Don’t know where to start, this is a beautiful place, the views are amazing. This place is so nice I could live here, has dishwasher, washing machine, full size oven and fridge freezer.
