Seaside ground floor flat WIFI & FREE parking

Everything was uncomfortable only.2.dining chairs to sit on very uncomfortable bed no.outside terrace as advertised tv not working properly we were told it was a faulty ariel by one of us the cleaners would not recommend this property we came.home.2 days early

The position of the place is perfect. You're practically in the middle of both north and south bay, looking straight out to sea. The bed was comfy and had all I needed to make my stay easy and relaxed. The staff were great and I was able to contact them with any queries I had. Don't expect it to be modern! It's an old building with lots of character, clearly popular to stay at and well cleaned.

Nothing I didn't like, but I would advise bringing ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Again, with it being an old building, (which l love about it) the floors do creak so if you have guests above you, as I did, it can be disturbing.

Horrendous customer service. NO parking permit on arrival. Flat in EXTREMELY POOR condition, nothing like the photographs. The curtains did not close (the rail was SO OLD it was falling apart - as were the curtains). We were on the ground floor so this caused a privacy issue at night when the light was on and a sleep issue in the morning with the sunlight streaming in before 5am!! The sash windows were so old that the wooden frames were rotting and the windows did not lock. Again, as we were ground floor, anyone approaching the flat could easily open the windows from the outside and climb in so we had to take our valuables with us each day. We contacted the owners regarding these problems but our first two messages were completely ignored. It was only when we sent a 3rd message, after waiting 7 hours, for a response that the owner responded. Told us they would get a handyman out THE NEXT day!! Told them this was not acceptable as we were getting to sleep, no security, and no privacy. The carpet was badly stained and had a hole in it near the bathroom door, making it a trip hazard. The bathroom shelf was on a slant making it impossible to put anything on. The shower took up to 5 minutes just to warm up, even then it was only lukewarm. The plates and wine glasses were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. We found the toaster had a PAT test sticker on it saying it was last inspected in May 2017 and next inspection was due May 2018!!!

Free parking permits, And everything we needed for a comfy stay

Can sometimes be hard to find parking near but it was very hot on our stay with loads of visitors to town so to be expected

Grubby,no light in bathroom, curtains hanging off, carpets coming up,stains on carpets near bed,sharp things sticking up through carpet near bathroom,and fusebox on the floor !!!!!.

Cleanliness of apartment. Well equipped.

Not enough space. Flat more suitable for short stays, rather than long ones. Bathroom too small and found shower difficult to use. There were warnings of water temperature variations, but this did not really help!
