It was quiet. To be honest, if I'd known that everything was going to be closed I probably would've chosen somewhere else to stay. I wanted to have a few days away with my sons, so I didn't mind it being quite "austere", but there was literally nothing to do there. It was handy having two toilets and the shower worked really well. It was also a nice touch having some chocolates waiting for us.

The caravan hadn't been cleaned properly, as there was a mouldy pretzel under one of the beds. There was no extractor fan so I had to cook with the door open, which wasn't ideal, and even then the slightest bit of heat set the smoke alarm off. There didn't seem to be any staff on site, which was a little bit disconcerting, but it would've been handy just to have someone to make sure that we got settled in without any dramas. Considering it cost over £250 for two nights, I was expecting there to be something open but literally everything was closed, and that's a lot of money to pay for a caravan with a 1980's-esque gas fire for heating.

Had a lovely little surprise gift on arrive which was very kind it felt cosy and really quiet so perfect for a relaxing get away

The sharpness of the Veneer on the table needed sorting as the children would catch there self on it while sat having there breakfast

It was really easy to find and a really nice part of the country

It rained everyday when we were there and everything just felt damp

Little touches were a pleasure to receive - the dog treats, nice linen etc. The outdoor space was great

The lack of TV and Internet signal! This could easily be overcome by the owners, whilst a few others had mentioned it in their reviews I always take them with a pinch of salt and thought that perhaps they were exaggerating. But not having either is a major fail and extremely disappointing. The caravan wasn't overly clean - we lost toys under the sofa and when we collected them we could see it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The outdoor space hadn't been cleaned for quite sometime and not presented in a welcome manner - the first thing you see is the hosepipe thrown on the floor and not neatly wound up on the reel. The parking was no where near the caravan and the site itself is on a hillside, wasn't clear in the description, luckily my sister decided to join me otherwise I don't know how I would have emptied the car with a dog and a 3 year old! I dislike leaving negative comments, this is completely out of nature for me but the comments above impacted our stay quite a bit.

The property was clean and adequately provided for, close to a convenience store and pub with restaurant. Easy parking and friendly ambiance all round.

The TV programs and operation is definitely an area for improvement. WiFi connection would be an added bonus.

Location, nice complex - well spaced and laid out.

Kitchen equipment minimal. No cafetiere or coffee making facilities. No ice tray. Static location within park very difficult to find, particularly in dark. Suggest giving what three words location.
