Self catering Skipton town centre apartment

Closest parking was a paid council car park 5 minutes walk away.

Very noisy neighbours. Mould and damp on the sitting room wall. Bedroom door handle (inner) came off in my hand. Had to go to Subway sandwich shop to get access to the property. Bathroom light was automated so when you are in the shower it turns off (completely dark as no windows). Cheap bed that moves around under you. Uncomfortable mattress.

Nice and spacious. Lovely bathroom and kitchen.

There were 3 of us staying, two in the double bed and one on the sofa bed. The sofa bed had a large stain on it and there was no sheet to cover it. The duvet cover also had a stain on it. There were only two towels so I had to contact the guy to bring us another. Although the shower looked good there was no hot water and it trickled out and you had to go under the massive shower head to turn it off! We were told when we arrived that the oven was broken by the last guest, so we couldn't use that if we wanted to. We had a bottle of wine but there was only one wine glass!

It was right in the town centre.

Not very clean, cold, furniture arranged in an odd way. No instructions for appliances etc. The oven door exploded when I put it on to heat up.

Central location....easy to pick up keys ....spotlessly clean

Lovely apartment, loved our stay here, clean, spacious, perfect location, great value for money, everything you could want, we will be back!

Furniture was uncomfortable

Nothing at all

Everything, it was filthy dirty. As you walk through the entrance the staircase isn’t swept. As you enter the flat your hit by the smell of damp. The place was covered in dust, the furniture was badly stained which they covered with throws to hide it. There were no metal forks and the cooking utensils were dirty.The towels were grubby and the bathroom floor had brown marks on it! The bedding was clean as you could smell the washing powder. It’s a shame as the flat had what you need for a small break. We would not recommend and they should be ashamed to rent it in that condition.

Picked up the keys from the lady in Subway (shop). Explained the set up for the key case. Very helpful.

We didn’t feel very comfortable with the cleanliness of the apartment. Cobwebs surrounding the window,dirty dish( used in the oven and not cleaned properly),toilet seat not secure,bathroom floor and sink waste not properly cleaned. Glass next to sink hadn’t been cleaned ( disgusting) and the woodwork in the bathroom has never seen a coat of top coat. We didn’t use the shower for obvious reasons.

It was in a great location in the centre of Skipton. Great link to public transport.

The handles on the doors were broken and we had to be careful that we didn't pull them open too hard, noticed under tables in lounge had not been swept well.
