It did exactly what we needed. Could have just used some black out curtains as the emergency light from the pub lit up the room at night

No bath steep staircase

Great location. Really central with lots of pubs and restaurants and the castle very near by.

My husband is 6’4”. He had to crouch to get under the shower head and the bed and meant he couldn’t straighten out in bed. Shower is very small cubicle. But we were not disappointed.

Apartment was in the centre of Knarsborough so great access to all amenities in the location. The property was spotless and had all necessities on staying in a self catering facility. My stay was only a couple of nights and ate out and there are great choices in the area to do so. Hosts very helpful both before, during and on exit of apartment. Was gifted a bottle of Prosecco by Julie, which was a lovely and welcoming thought on entry. Recommended as a place to stay if visiting Knarsborough.

Apartment was in a great location, the only setback if had to pick one was the stairwell to the upper unit could be a problem if you struggle with mobility. I don't particularly but was careful getting up and down the stairs.

I loved the location and the charming character of the property. It was lovely and compact and There was mostly everything you might need. Julie was easy to contact, friendly and helpful.

Shower cubicle could do with a thorough clean and update. I would have liked a bread board and knife. I saw that someone had cut on the place mats.

I have stayed here before and would do so again. The room is attractive and functional for one person. It is kept very clean and the location is central for Knaresborough. The hosts are always friendly and helpful and I would happily recommend Lily Pad to others.
