Oystercatcher Apartments

The location is brilliant - very short (but steep) walk to the beach and village centre. The view from our apartment was amazing.

The communal entrance could do with some TLC and a few little bits in the flat need attention but only minor things.

Location excellent, apartment adequate for our needs, bar and restaurant very good and exceptional staff.

Bedroom a little small so door could not open fully without being stopped by the bed.

Food on the whole was lovely except one meal where it was not cooked ie still raw so couldn't eat the fish but all other meals were good and good value for money. Staff were friendly but overworked and seemed to concentrate on the larger occupied tables rather than a lone occupier.

The apartment was very poor. The door into the apartment didn't have a door handle so could not shut it properly. As i was a woman on her own this made me feel unsafe and not feel lije my possessions were secure when i was out.. Rat bait trap right outside the porch door right under the table if I had wanted to sit outside. Very tired furniture and decor everywhere. The poorest shower I have ever had although the water was hot. Free view TV in the lounge and although it said netflix on the control box this wasn't available and only about 4 TV channels in the bedroom which was frustrating For the amount I paid I was extremely disappointed. In the apartment. Luckily the weather was good so I didn't have to be in it too much. I had my evening meals there every night and although the food was good the service was slow. One night it took 40 minutes for my drink to arrive and that was after chasing for it.

Erhebliche Schäden an Hochbett (Treppe und Geländer) sowie an Terrasse (Löcher und abgebrochenes Geländer), lose Schrauben und Nägel. Alles gefährlich für Kind und Hund. Haben freundlich daraufhin gewiesen,und um eine Lösung gebeteten. Es ist nichts passiert.

Was a little noisy at night with the flat above me banging around at 12.15pm at night, but you cannot blame the proprietor for uncaring traveler’s.

Location was perfect. You can see the beach from my room. The room was super clean and tidy. I couldn't ask for a better room. I can't fault this hotel

The poor entrance to the apartment was up a flight of smelly stairs that needed urgent attention to be cleaned up. All the crockery had to be washed by us before we were able to use it. The bathroom was particularly tired with rotten woodwork around the doorway.

Had the best time with beautiful views and extremely friendly staff. Would love to visit again.

Perfect location in polzeath. Easy walk to the beach and stunning view of the bay. Simple but very comfortable and clean.

A washing machine would be handy for a longer stay but not a problem for a weekend.
