Wuthering Heights

What an absolute gem of a find.......in a lovely location right opposite the church with its beautiful stain glass windows and church bells!! It's like stepping back in time, a little piece of paradise. Great hosts, immaculately clean and really well equipped. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water to enjoy soak in the bath after a day exploring the local area. We will definitely return to this beautiful place.

Nothing not to like

Very easy to find, beautiful decor, excellent facilities- lovely to find T-bags and loo roll (so we didn't have to nip out straight away)

One very Minor point - no pint glasses for the men's beer, and wine glasses didn't match .

Property was gorgeous and in a great location - they had everything you could need for a comfortable stay

A beautiful place to stay in the small town of Sedbergh. Comfortable, cozy and relaxing. The apartment is on 2 floors with a large and comfortable living room and kitchen. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms and the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bed in the master bedroom is super king size and very quiet too.

Beautiful property and nicely furnished, it is clean, warm and cosy. Great location, only half an hour's drive from Windermere, also close to the car park and supermarket

Decor, and good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment.

It was not very clean. Had to wash cooking utensils frying pans before we used them. Lots of dust over all surfaces and cobwebs. Place mats had dried food on them. Old food crumbs in utensil drawer. Dried food on kitchen island. Bath wasn’t clean, had hairs in it, lots of mould over the sealant. Corner of shower screen was filthy and shower head black with mould, so had to clean it before we used it. (We took photos) Springs in mattress in main bedroom have gone, so no support.

Comfy beds. Lovely little town. Convenient for an overnight stay. Lovely accommodation.

Busy road but did go quiet at night.
