Candy Suite - 5 mins to Bullring Mall and New Street Station

The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a short / mid stay. There's a lift to get you to the apartment, and the key pick-up location is open 24 hours. It's walking distance to the city centre, the canals, and lots of shops, so it's very convenient.

There's no place to leave luggage if you arrive before check in, and getting to the apartment is a bit tricky — but they send very helpful videos so that it's easier to understand how to get there. You have to go through a car park and trash to get to the entrance, which is not so pretty. Other comments mentioned that there's a noisy club right below, but we only stayed during the week and had no problems at all with noise coming from outside.

The place looked exactly like the pictures. There were Netflix and BBC player accounts logged in on the Tav, which was good for entertainment. The apartment was spacious enough for two people and generally clean. The microwave was very handy and the bed was comfy. There were enough plates and cups for two people to dine with. Collecting the key was straightforward, and we were sent our access code on time. We stayed towards the beginning of the week so there were no loud club noises.

While our general stay was ok, we could have done with more bath towels or two larger ones with two small ones. The intercom system wasn't working (not the host's fault, as it appeared to not be working for the entire building). Like many, the security deposit threw me as I missed it in the small print. Nevertheless, the security deposit was refunded back within a week of checking out. We would stay here again as it was pleasant, but would likely bring own toiletries (as we did), maybe extra towels, bottled water etc. If you are planning to cook, you may want to bring kitchen towel etc.

Property was really clean and tidy when we arrived - it looked very much like the photos and the check-in instructions were very clear, including a video and photos. The key pickup is very close by and easy to do. The sofa was very comfortable.

Beautifully appointed flat, ideally located for us. The instructions prior to arriving were excellent.

The blinds in the flat didn't close properly, so they didn't offer complete privacy. Plus, we got a message asking us what our checkout time might be before we'd even gone to bed. We knew we had to be out by 11am; that should be enough.

The location was ideal as we booked a one night stay for a concert in the O2. Apartment is just 3 min walk away.

Where to start. Check in time is 2pm and you’re meant to collect keys from nearby shop- host only sent code at 14:14 so that’s a waste of time. The water temperature in the bathroom cannot be set, it only goes from hot to even hotter- no way to get a lower temperature. There is no information whatsoever about the apartments policy on leaving makeup or tan stains on towels or linen- they will steal £30 from your deposit as if they’ve never heard of a washing machine. This information should’ve been disclosed before. After check out, no information whatsoever about ‘inspection’ and how much of the deposit you’re getting back. Honestly, don’t book this.

The best place to stay if you’re going to O2 Academy for concert. Location was 100/10 (super convenient). Nice & comfy bed and spacious flat perfect for couples.
