4 Royal Mile flat near Edinburgh Castle

The location was phenomenal. You are right in the heart of the Royal Mile and central to anywhere you would like to go. We walked everywhere and loved the proximity to Arthur's Seat, to Calton Hill, to the castle, to food stalls at the Omni, to the bus station, to all the restaurants we wanted to visit, and everything else I haven't mentioned that was to see & experience within the heart of Edinburgh. The bedrooms aren't on the street side, so that was very nice to be able to get a good night's sleep. The apartment provides a great space for a family traveling together. Our host was also very accessible and did a great job communicating with us. We really enjoyed our stay here!

The only thing we had an issue with was that the washing machine seemed to be a combo washer/dryer, however it didn't dry our clothing at all, so that was a bit of a stressor during our last day of our stay. Everything we washed was totally wet.

Clean, comfortable, spacious accommodations; well equipped kitchen; excellent location. I highly recommend this property.

It was nearly perfect!! Very clean and modern and in a perfect location. Parking was very close and pre-bookable. The apartment was a good size and very peaceful. The heating was good and soon warmed up the apartment. Facilities were good for self catering but we didn’t use them. Communication was perfect with the host.

Nearly perfect except for the back room with the divan, one side of the bed is broken so you sleep on the tilt making it quite uncomfortable.

The heater/AC is set at a predetermined temperature of 18C. We are not allowed to adjust it. It feels really cold at night especially since its winter. All the AC units made a loud clanking noise throughout the entire night, making it difficult for light sleepers like my son and husband. I initially booked the rooms for 2 nights. But due to a change in travel plan (it was only a day after I booked the room), we decided to change our stay to 1 night. The host charge me extra $150 for it. Partially my fault, I should have read the cancellation policy carefully.
