Clean and tidy, quite spacious especially the kitchen area

People have been kind rather than candid in their reviews of this ‘apartment’. Probably Ok if you want to stay one night and eat in the pub Yes it’s kept clean and is quite spacious but also very very basic and lacking in many of the items needed for self catering. Add in the noise and lack of security owing to the proximity of the car park and road; thin curtains which have to stay closed for that reason and the rodent activity mentioned by others, and this ‘apartment’ falls well short of its rating. I could write a whole list of what’s wrong and missing from the upside down switches to the mattress that’s too small for the bed to the lack of wifi but suffice to say we checked out early.

Fantastic little self-contained flat a little home from home. Welcoming host, immaculately clean, quiet location next to pub presumably owned by the host. We stayed here on the last minute booking to attend football. Dog friendly with your own front door lovely fitted kitchen with everything You needed, a massive comfortable sofa, TV and the most comfortable bed. Immaculately clean. Not much not to like about this place

Possibly could have done with bedside lamps and perhaps a couple of little miniature toiletries. Not a big deal it was brilliant. I would be staying here again quite happily well done guys and thank you for having us and the dogs

Comfy bed. Privacy. Nice area

Mouldy smell. Vermin in the ceiling scratching around all night alarming. Limited kitchen items. Dog hairs all over the blanket on the bed. Update needed

Lovely and cosy, very clean and the staff were brilliant. The food was absolutely beautiful, we will defijitpy be staying again

The location was excellent, the hosts were friendly. The apartment was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The main reason why we booked this place was the kitchen to prepare our own meals but unfortunately, the hob did not heat up and the cooker hood did not work either. Although, some were pointed out on arrival, it was not straightforward how and where to switch on the electrical appliances as the isolation switches were off.

Had everything we needed and they accepted our dogs which was a huge bonus as we were in Durham for my best friends wedding, it was very good value for money.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about it, it had what was needed
