very spacious. very clean. everything you could have wanted including the views and great location.

The settees were not comfortable, very hard. The shower had a very poor flow, not much power, but it was very hot which was very good. Water just trickled out most of the time in the kitchen when in hot, also took ages for the hot water to come through. fine when on cold water.

The staff were vey helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed our day on the barge and our trip into Shrewsbury.

The furniture and beds were really uncomfortable and poorly laid out in the main lounge for six people. The bathrooms could do with updating and rearranging into two even sized ones. In respect of cleanliness, there was a strong smell of damp in the property and there were several spiders webs, complete with dead flies and spiders on some of the ceilings. The general cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms were acceptable. The property would benefit from a full update.

The location was perfect and the size of the rooms were really good. Place was really clean.

Sleeps 6. Ran a shallow bath for my niece. Then my mother ran one, and there was no hot water. The hot after tap in the small toilet didn't work, and the hot tap in the bathroom was extremely hot..not great with young children. Couldn't see an iron or ironing board which was meant to be provided. Staff didn't seem to want to talk to my family until they mentioned they were staying here. Couldn't work outdoor lights for when we sat at the seating area on an evening.
