River Cottage

Location was ideal, within walking distance of the hotel where we were attending a wedding, close to town & bars, restaurants. Also size, plenty of room for our family. The cottage was comfortable & had a nice river view, & is nicer & more spacious than the photos suggest

Nothing tbh, the size & location was as advertised which was why we chose it.

Nice location with river views

Location was excellent. Right on the river in Inverness, close to everything. Beautiful views from the rooms. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night to enjoy it more. We heard some Saturday-night sounds outside but once I closed the window it was perfectly quiet.

There are a lot of stairs. The master bedroom is on top, other 2 bedrooms on a separate level, living room and kitchen on another level. You go upstairs to reach even the first level. With staying only one night, we left our luggage on the living room level so as not to have to carry it all the way to the top. So this would not be suitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs.

The cottage was lovely and in a great location for Inverness and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again if visiting that part of Scotland in the future.

The location was ideal with a lovely view over the river from the lounge and top bedroom. It was a very cosy, well equipped and very spacious property ideal for the five of us.
