"Converted garage - with improvements ok for overnight stays"

Clean and had a new kitchenette with good potential but some improvements needed from our experience Owner was responsive to messaging.

Various suggestions to improve experience for future users The shower was a wet room- all nicely done out however the drain didn’t work and this meant water flooded everywhere so we were unable to have a normal shower without risk of flooding and had to keep turning the shower off. We have reported this and the owner said he would sort so hopefully won’t be an issue for others. Heating was on but still cold on arrival and took a while to warm up so be aware it takes a while- suggest the owner puts it on earlier in advance of guests arrival. Clearer directions as to location of annex needed including making clear that you need to go through the gate into what looked like a private garden at the back of a house - it was actually a converted garage and we were looking for an annex- owner was responsive to my messages when we couldn’t find it. Check in is 5pm which is quite late - we did request an earlier check in but were told we were not able to however on the day we were offered earlier check in but unfortunately too late to suit our revised plans Provide hand towels as well as bath towels

Good, clean and comfortable stay for a night with some fancy tech and friendly host.

It had basic amenities needed but the parking space nearby was too narrow, the shower lost hot/warm water too quickly and there was no compost or recycling facilities. We feel the remote controlled windows, de-misting bathroom mirror and other mod cons are a bit too excessive considering some of the basic amenities were not working or in place..
