Bernard St - Bright and spacious 1 bed apartment at the Shore!

Spacious apartment. In a good location.

No parking offered in spite of ample unused spots at rear. Carrying heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs was not much fun.

The apartment is exceptionally pleasant, spacious, spotless, very nicely furnished, great location with easy bus connection to the city centre. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, walks nearby. Information provided by the hosts was exceptionally helpful and clear. Email responses from the hosts were quick and clear. This is an outstanding apartment. Well done!

Exceptionally equipped. With coffee machine etc. etc. - everything you need. Bedroom window is to the back yard - so quiet. Tram is very close which goes to the center and airport - very convenient.

As apartment is in the old building - windows are thin and it was hard to keep inside comfortably warm. We did figure out how to keep the heater on all the time - that helped a lot. Mind you we were off-season, when outside was only 7C during the day, so it might be completely different in the summer ;)

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the well-supplied kitchen for self- catering. The washer in the unit was a plus. The communication for checkin and checkout were outstanding.

Parking in a major city is always a challenge, and Edinburgh was no different. If you are driving, check out the parking options ahead of time. We ended up using a Park and Ride outside the city. From there, you can use public transportation or Uber to get back into town.

Very well appointed with everything a traveller needs. Spaces in living area and kitchen are excellent. Bedroom cosy and comfortable. Bathroom is excellent.

May not be too convenient for business traveller as there is no obvious work space.

Grocery stores, bakery and many pubs and restaurants around

- the absence of any physical contact with the host was not a problem, as all information to get the key from a dropbox were obtained before coming. In the appartment, a notebook was provided with all useful information (with suggestions of places to visit, restaurants, pubs...)

Lovely location, around corner from tram and buses and wee supermarket across the road. Lovely facilities- home away from home
