Arran Ferry Apartment

The location was perfect. Close to the supermarket, the ferry, and on street parking.

The property location was very good for the train, ferry and not too far to walk to the sea front. The apartment was warm and comfortable and generally clean.

The area could do with some attention, it was a little rundown and off putting on arrival. Outside gate way and doors could not be locked and when booking the apartment, there was no mention that there are stairs outside of the property to get in, and then shared stairs once inside the first door to get up to the apartment. This could be a problem for older people or people with disabilities. The cooker was very poor, needed a good clean and took along time to cook anything. Lots of open packets of food in the cupboards and freezer.

Location was perfect for us. The host was friendly and helpful. Basic supplies were left for us which was appreciated after a long drive. The apartment is spacious and comfy. I would recommend the apartment.

This property was in dishevelled area. It had three flights if stairs which no hint was given of. The bathroom was downstairs and bedrooms uo a steep flight. We would never have chosen it as we are in our 70s and have mild mobility issues. We chose not to struggle with the luggage up all the stairs! Stayed half an hour and rebooked a travel lodge in Ayr. So who ever cleans it will have had an easy job ckeaning it for the next unsuspecting visitors.

Clear details of access and stairs. Area which was handy for Ferry.... which was cancelled due to maintenance issues. The actual flat was clean, large and well equipped. Just not advertised in a truthful way. way

Comfy bed, nice apartment.

Stayed 2 nights cause I wanted to visit Arran unfortunately the ferry was cancelled. Apparently quite a common occurrence. What that did though was give me downtime in a nice apartment.
