Warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated and well provisioned. Communication and access details concise. Parking easy. Would stay again.

Clothes dryer listed in description, but indoor heating sufficed.

The cottage was wonderfully curated! Location was great, just two blocks from the river easy access to the other side of town.

The property is in a fine location for restaurants and pubs. Just walk to the river and walk across the pedestrian bridge and there are many options for food and drink! It is a well appointed 2 bed, 2 bath place on 2 floors. All is clean and new and well kept.

The property was described as having a full laundry. One of the reasons we chose it was for that as we were traveling for 2 weeks and wanted to wash clothes to reduce luggage. There is a lovely washer. No dryer. We made do. I wouldn’t avoid this place because of that. This was a minor inconvenience.

The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. It could have done with a pint of milk instead of the little plastic pots that we didn't use. All in all I would recommend

Excellent location, incredibly central. Cottage is well equipped and very nicely presented with lots of interesting and thoughtful touches. Easy walk to town and we thoroughly enjoyed excellent dinners at Rocpool and River House. Would highly recommend both. We also enjoyed the vibe at MacGregors bar but you really need to be there early if you want to eat. We saw some great looking food being served as we arrived but there’s a very stripped back menu of primarily Burgers, for later arrivals. We were seated around 8pm and the food was at best mediocre.

The single parking permit is an issue if you have visitors. Our daughter joined us for some of the time and finding a non permit parking place is a bit of a challenge. Having said that we didn’t ask the hosts for an extra one, and so I can’t comment on these being available or not. The back garden is very small but perfectly adequate for letting the dog out but is entirely fenced in with no outlook at all. The garden to the left is a big tip which brings the general feel of the place down.
