Safe on-site parking. Very comfy bed. Large modern bathroom with large shower area. Good towels. No kitchen but there is a small microwave and fridge (milk, butter, apple pastry provided), toaster, kettle, a good supply of tea, coffee, white sugar, honey, crockery, various glasses and tea towels so all is good. Freeview TV.

Heating is by a mechanical timer which I could not fathom. Limited table space. No host on- site so may be an issue for some.

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse on beautiful grounds, lovely river walk and views at the doorstep. Beautiful building and interiors, very comfy bed and lovely bathroom facilities. Tea/coffee making facilities also. John was a really helpful host from the get-go, provided taxi number, back drop off etc.

A lovely spot looking down at River Roe; comfortable and unusual property that has everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. Spacious enough for groups/families.

The Aga blasts out heat, perfect if you need it, but opening windows to let heat out feels almost sinful to some!

The gate lodge is gorgeous. It has everything you could possibly need. We can't wait to go back. The location is perfect for exploring the North Coast, Derry and into Donegal.

The location was excellent for access to the whole of the north & Antrim coasts. The conservatory off the main lounge had beautiful raised views.

The attic bedroom area had more limited headroom than expected…it would have been brilliant for children to use as a ‘get away’ from parents.

The place was exactly as pictured and in a great location for what we needed. John was a fantastic host. Very kind and helpful and great communication before and during the trip.
