Brownston Apartments

20 minutes to South West Coast Path (between Rivers Avon and Erme) (by car - no buses). Bus stop for Plymouth/Kingsbridge/Dartmouth a minute away. A separate toilet/basin in addition to en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. All we needed in the kitchen and a Co-op nearby.

There were several steps up to the apartment, which wasn't a problem for us but may be for others.

Excellently maintained and ultra clean! The host was extremely helpful and answered all questions we had.

Central location and long stay carpark close enough and not too expensive. Good shower and clean apartment. Nice to see no leftover groceries in cupboards, my pet hate

Couldn't open bedroom window but there was a fan. Single glazed and roadside location means early morning noise a challenge purchased ear plugs which helped. Stairs were a challenge as they felt uneven

This is a lovely clean and comfortable apartment for a couple right in the middle of Modbury. The location is perfect for being in walking distance to everything Modbury has to offer plus nature walks and easy drives to nearby towns, including Salcombe. What I particularly like about this place is that it has easy access, all kitchen things you need including tea, coffee, and milk plus salt and pepper. Lucy even left us a box of Maltesers which was a welcome treat after our long drive. It feels safe and secure, and it even has a second toilet, which is just a great touch when traveling as a couple. This is our second stay and we plan to come back again to stay at Brownston Apartments.

There’s nothing we really disliked about it. They have thought of all the things you need. It’s heated and there are blankets for cool evenings. And there’s a fan for warm days. Take in consideration that there is no garden but there are plenty of very short walks to a couple of scenic meadows.

Freshly decorated, clean, spacious apartment located smack-bang in the middle of Modbury town. Everything was 100% , can't find fault with the establishment.

There was nothing that we didn't like, everything was perfect.

Standard of apartment and facilities was excellent, all very clean and comfortable. Location was really good with pubs and shops on doorstep as well as being on main road for getting by bus or car to places.

Only downsides were light traffic noise, but balanced this with location, and there was only a blind in bedroom which meant it was light early but neither impacted our visit.

Lovely clean, bright apartment, very welcoming feel and location is right in town. Lovely looking out over all the shops.
