Brownston Apartments

Spacious, light and comfortable apartment right on the high street of Modbury so it was very convenient but extremely quiet at night.

It could do with a bit of a refresh of the decor and kitchen/ bathroom. The communication was quite slow with the owner compared to other places I’ve stayed - I had to reach out a couple of times as I needed things, but I didn’t get a response in a quick enough timeframe to be useful.

Self catering, the whole place looked like it had just been newly fitted out. Thanks for the mike and chocs :)

Only real down side imho, was the lack of parking near the property.

It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of seating in the sitting room.

It was a bit noisy as overlooking the Main Street, but we were aware it and early risers so not an issue for us.

very clean, very homely and cracking location, lovely high street with a nice pub/restaurant across the road (white hart hotel) and a really nice breakfast cafe (the little kitchen). highly recommend this accommodation!

it was clean and well presented and had two seperate toilets which a bonus for a one bed apartment: each room was a good size and easy to access and being in centre was ideal for a shop and pubs and takeaways . great location for trips out and the beach. the tv had sky tv too which was great . we had a comfortable stay and would definitely use it again.

there was nothing I didn’t like .

The apartment is light and stylishly furnished. The bed was very comfortable, efficient heating and everything provided that I needed for my stay. Good communication from the owner. I was visiting family in nearby Ivybridge so the location was perfect. The co-op is just around the corner and well stocked, I didn't use any of the pubs or takeaways.

These are only niggles - car parking and noise. I found it easier to park in the long stay car park as there were no spaces available on the road at any time I was there. Could a permit be provided? Noise - You can clearly hear the upstairs flat when occupied and, as the windows are not double glazed, the traffic on the main road.
