The Allanbreck Studio Glencoe Ballachulish Highlands Near Fortwilliam

- Beautiful location, right on the edge of Loch Linnhe and easy to access Oban, Glencoe, Ben Nevis and Fort William. - Both Mairi and Tony were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. - The apartment is very tastefully decorated with high end furniture and fittings and feels premium. - Lots of little touches made the place very homely like chocolates, a nice coffee machine and Apple TV. - Easy parking outside and named spaces which is helpful as there are other properties on the same site. - Amazing bath and shower with high quality toiletries everywhere. - Bed was very comfortable and pillows were high quality.

- Charging points next to the bed would be super helpful for phones etc, even an extension lead would be fine! - A small oven would finish the place off, there is a hob and a microwave for some cooking. However I realise this is hard to pull off with the space available.

It was beautiful

Exquisite location, clean and luxurious. Extremely well appointed. Owners were gracious and warm and couldn't do enough for us. Our place was quiet and peaceful with that amazing view.We were blessed with mild sunny weather, it felt like heaven should be.

Its difficult to find a negative. Perhaps there were too many pillows. The kitchenette was extraordinarily equipped with the highest quality tools and appliances.

The place is very nice, it's a big room and a bathroom, everything was very clean and we felt very welcome! We were met upon our arrival by the hosts, given the keys and some recommendations for dinner. The room has everything we needed to have our own food, such as fridge, microwave, stove, dishes etc. There was a stash of tea, coffee and a lot of sweets for us! The furniture was comfortable, there was carpet on the floor and most of all, there was a fireplace! As we've got the worst possible weather, we were happy to dry up in front of the fireplace and it made the room very cosy. There was a bath and a shower, which were both very pleasant to use. Despite the house standing on the road, it was very quiet and we were not disturbed by any noises. We were very happy with this place overall!

I really quite liked everything and would definitely stay there again, perhaps the only tiny thing is that there is no window as such, as the big glass doors serve as windows. We kept the door half-open to let the air inside, but once we had to lock up for the night, a little lack of fresh air could be felt, so we left the tiny window in the bathroom open to help it.

Beautifully appointed and comfortable. Everything needed was provided. The hosts were delightful.

Beautiful location and interior of the apartment was finished to a high standard. Lots of personal touches made the place feel very welcoming and comfortable. Mairi was lovely - welcoming with lots of useful info about the area.

Nothing I didn’t like about the property.

We loved everything about it! The location and view are magical, with gorgeous sunsets over the loch and a great walking path by the water where we saw seals, an otter, and herons. The area is spectacular, and it's only a short (and beautiful) drive to Glencoe, Fort William etc. A warm welcome from Mairi who was very friendly and helpful but also left us to ourselves which we appreciated. She was always nearby if we needed anything, but we didn't -the apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has everything you could need right down to thoughtful touches like coffee pods and sweet treats! We stayed 3 nights and wished we'd just spent our whole week's holiday here!

There's nothing not to like. It's perfect!
